Issue Tracker Integrations

Connect FiveStar Support with GitHub, Jira, GitLab, Trello, or Bitbucket to sync feedback with your existing workflow.

What are Integrations?

Integrations allow you to sync customer feedback between FiveStar Support and your favorite issue tracking platforms. When a customer submits feedback, it can automatically create an issue in GitHub, Jira, or other connected platforms. Changes made in those platforms sync back to FiveStar, keeping everything in sync.

The Integrations tab shows all your connected platforms and allows you to add new ones.

Supported Platforms

GitHub

Sync issues with GitHub repositories. Supports issue creation, comments, labels, and status updates.

Jira

Connect to Jira Cloud. Create issues from feedback and sync status changes back.

GitLab

Integrate with GitLab projects. Supports issues, comments, and webhook sync.

Trello

Create Trello cards from feedback. Organize by list and sync card updates.

Bitbucket

Connect to Bitbucket repositories. Sync issues and comments bidirectionally.

Setting Up an Integration

1️⃣

Go to Client Settings

Open your client's detail page in the dashboard and click the 'Integrations' tab.

2️⃣

Add Integration

Click 'Add Integration' and select your platform (GitHub, Jira, etc.).

3️⃣

Enter Credentials

Provide your API token, repository details, and optionally a webhook secret for secure sync.

4️⃣

Configure Sync

Choose sync direction, import existing issues, or export your current responses.

Sync Options

Choose how data flows between FiveStar Support and your integration:

Bidirectional Sync

Changes sync both ways. Updates in FiveStar appear in the issue tracker and vice versa.

Export Only

New feedback in FiveStar creates issues in the tracker, but tracker changes don't sync back.

Import Only

Existing issues from the tracker are imported to FiveStar, but new feedback doesn't create issues.

Webhook Support

All integrations support webhooks for real-time updates:

  • ✓Issue title, description, and status changes sync instantly
  • ✓Comments added in the issue tracker appear in FiveStar discussions
  • ✓Closing, reopening, or changing status updates the response in FiveStar
